February 2007

Dear Members,

Love is in the air!  Sometimes we get so caught up in our day to day busy lives with our multiples that we forget to make time for our special someone.  I hope everyone can enjoy a little romance this month and celebrate a Happy Valentine’s Day!  Book the babysitters or call in a favor with your mother-in-law for this month’s program - Café and Comedian Night - and bring your spouse or special friend for an adults-only,  fun and funny evening.

As we look forward to Spring, keep in mind that the 2007 Fashion Show is coming!  This is our biggest project of the year and our major fundraiser to sustain this club’s operations.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!  There are many ways to get involved and pitch in – solicit some donations, wrap some baskets, we have something for everyone to do.  Contact Fundraising to join the Fashion Show Committee.  Our Fundraising Ladies will be pulling out all the stops to make this year’s big event a fantastic night of fun and prizes for all!

Next month we will host a panel of Early Intervention and Education Experts at our General Meeting, to share their advice and guide us in this difficult journey.  If this is something you are dealing with in the life of your multiples, this is a program not to be missed.  Then our little ones can gather to enjoy the Spring Egg Hunt, with a visit from a surprise guest (any volunteers to wear the Bunny suit?).

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the 2007 State Convention in Buffalo this April!  Details and registration packets are now available.  I am really looking forward to attending my first State Convention and hope many of you will join me.  It may not be warm and sunny in Buffalo in April, but it’s still a fun weekend away with the girls!

As always, please feel free to contact me with any suggestions or ideas you may have to make this club what everyone needs it to be.  Happy Valentine’s Day!

Twincerely,
