Dear Members,

Happy Spring to all!  After a last ditch effort to get in some more winter, we finally have sunny days to look forward to!  We have a lot planned for the months ahead in our club.  I hope you will make some time to join us and get involved.

Everyone enjoyed our panelists at the March meeting.  I hope you were able to take away some valuable information from their presentations.  This month is our fantastic Spring Clothing and Equipment Sale.  There will be bargains for everyone!  Invite your family and friends to shop at 8:45pm, members will enjoy a preview at 8:15pm AFTER the business meeting, which will begin earlier this month, at 7:45 pm.

The 2007 Fashion Show is coming next month, and we need your help!!  This event is our major fundraiser to sustain this club’s operations throughout the year.  We have over 240 members in our club, and we expect everyone to bring in at least one donation.  Invite your family and friends for an elegant ladies evening at the Chateau Briand.  This is a huge project for our club, and there are many ways for everyone to pitch in and lend a hand - solicit some donations, wrap some baskets, maybe even be a runway model!  We really need everyone’s participation to make this event the best ever!  Contact Fundraising to join the Fashion Show Committee, details are in the newsletter. 

Before you know it, club elections will be here in June.  Please consider volunteering for a position on the Board.  There are many ways to be involved, and we have a lot of openings available for next year’s Board.  I hope many of you will make the commitment to keep our organization running strong.  Please contact me if you are interested or have any questions about what a position on the Board involves.  Many take minimal time, but give maximum rewards to everyone.

I have been really enjoying working with this year’s Board, and I hope many of you will continue to be involved in positions next year as well.  I need to hear from each of you as soon as possible s to your intentions for next year.  Resume forms are available, contact me to get one.  I need them back by the May meeting.
