Are
you joyfully expecting twins, triplets, or more? Now that they've
arrived, are you trying to figure out how to juggle the babies? Are you
experiencing the terrible twos in your home? Are you trying to decide if
your children should be in the same class at school? Do you want to make
friends with other mothers of twins?
The NCMOTC is a local, non-profit
organization founded in 1960 that meets in Nassau County, NY . The
purpose of our organization is to guide parents of twins and higher
order multiples in the
rearing of their children through shared ideas and experiences.
Our primary goal is to be an
educational, social and emotional support group for parents of twins and
higher order multiples
and those in need within our community. We achieve this goal through our
programs, activities, one on one interaction and through the work of
charitable committees. Most of our members live in Nassau County, but
welcome women from Suffolk and Queens as well. Our membership consist of
mothers of twins (or more!), and we have been where you are now. We are
here to help you through this exciting, but busy time.
Our MONTHLY MEETINGS serve several
purposes:
A well-deserved night out
and break from the family for Mom. Friendships with M.O.M.s (Mothers of
Multiples) whose children are the same age.
Get advice from members
whose multiples are older than yours. Source of information via speakers and
workshops.
